Details: Bio clean salt is a natural aquarium cleaner that combines 2 products; bio digest and bioptim. Bio digest is made up of nitrifying, nitrate reducing and facultative bacterial strains selected for their ability to convert ammonia into nitrites, nitrites into nitrates and nitrates into nitrogen. These bacteria 50 billion in each 1ml ampoule work together with each strain finishing off the work started by the others. Some are capable of biosynthesizing nitrate reducing enzymes in aerobic conditions. This enables water to be effectively purified, nitrates and phosphates to be reduced and prevents the spread of filamentous algae. By competing for food and through a probiotic effect they also prevent the proliferation of pathogenic organisms and reduce the risk of unexplained diseases. Bioptim contains all the microelements needed for aquarium life selected amino acids, enzymes, natural vitamins and a natural plant surface active agent enabling better membrane absorption by cells. It also provides trace elements sulfur for proteins, iron for plants and fish blood, cobalt for Vitamin B and boron for many products metabolized during cell building, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, molybdenum and potassium. Bioptim also facilitates the elimination of nitrates and phosphates, which are an early warning sign of algae problems, and carbohydrates, and therefore helps to regulate decomposition odors and optimize water quality.
